Due to company growth, we are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join our workshop team. You will need excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment. Mechanical knowledge is required to assist in the daily running of the workshop as this is a hands-on role.

The role will include:
- Managing the workshop staff, working alongside the yard manager.
- Liaising with the Service Team regarding any details of damage to machines or other issues with hire machines to ensure downtime is minimal.
- Assisting engineers when needed with repairs.
- Overseeing machine prep and making sure the machines are ready to go to customers.
- Maintaining Heath & Safety requirements in the workshop environment.
- Accurately recording the details of machines collected and returned by customers on workshop tablets.
- Ensuring the workshop is kept clean, organised and tidy.
- Keeping stores organised and stocked
Requirements
- Can-do attitude.
- A punctual, reliable, trustworthy team player.
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Background in mobile plant products and/or agricultural equipment
- Full UK Drivers’ licence.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 06.30hrs to 17.30hrs with 07.00hrs to 12.00hrs every other Saturday.
20 Days holiday + Bank holidays – rising with length of service to a maximum of 25 days + Bank holidays.
