Here at ASHBROOK we’re proud of the hard work and dedication that all our staff put in to help the business succeed. However, on this day, International Woman’s Day, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the different perspectives and dedication that our female workforce brings to the company.
Plant hire and construction are traditionally viewed as a male-dominant professions. Whilst this is still the case with only 12.5%* of the workforce in the construction industry being female, we are pleased to see that we are slightly ahead of this average with 14.5% of our staff being women. Even more pleasing, 40% of these roles are managerial.
We asked a selection of our female staff to introduce their roles and what they enjoyed most about them, to give you all a little insight into a day in the life at ASHBROOK.

I only recently joined the business so I’m excited to get to know the team and customers.’
