HILLHEAD (ALMOST) LIVE-SMASH HIT!

Like most trade shows this year, Hillhead 2020, unfortunately, fell victim to the COVID- 19 cancellations.

Determined not to let a little thing like a global pandemic get in the way of an industry celebration! Demolition News, The Digger Man Blog, Peter Haddock and DiggerS & Dozers set about bringing Hillhead 2020 to the masses.

What they created is a credit to the industry’s ingenuity and resilience. With the support of exhibitors, knowledge share and best practice was distributed across Facebook, IGTV and YouTube for all to enjoy.

Watched on the night, by 28,000 people on Instagram alone, with more live streaming across the other channels, the evening was a roaring success. In fact, it greatly exceeded the maximum visitor numbers of 19,753, seen at the 2018 event.
