These Series III telehandlers boast a smart hydraulics package that improves cycle time and reduces fuel consumption.  Not to mention a new increased lifting performance versus earlier models.  Thus, making it one of the most efficient telehandlers available to farmers.

The regenerative hydraulics harness gravitational forces to enable the boom to lower and retract with greater speed.  This also reduces excess engine revving and contributes to better fuel economy.  Alongside this, the hydraulic auxiliary venting releases pressure from inside and outside the cab.  Thus meaning that changing an attachment has never been more straightforward.

In addition, boom-end damping improves material retention and makes for a smoother work cycle.  Whilst the auto bucket control makes it easier to meter out or fully empty material from your bucket or manure fork via a feature button on the joystick.

Like all vehicles in this series, the JCB 542-70 AGRI Xtra comes with the 3 steer modes (2, 4, and crab), a compact wheelbase, and large steering lock angles.  Thus, saving you valuable time on the farm, especially where space is limited.

As this telehandler is an AGRI Xtra it comes with limited-slip differential for improved performance on difficult terrain.

Working on uneven ground?  Then the hydraulically controlled sway front axle levelling system enables precision loading on uneven ground.

Operator Comfort

The new CommandPlus cab offers a 10% increase in airflow performance and a 66% improvement in defrost time; great news for those cold and frosty mornings.  Automatic temperature and climate control ensures that fresh or re-circulated air keeps the operator at a comfortable temperature throughout the day.

With a cab volume increase of 12%, the new Series III AGRI Loadall offers a roomy environment for the operator.  The new shaped cab ensures that the operator remains a comfortable distance from the curved front glass.  In addition, this curved front glass affords the operator superior visibility with the Command Driving Position adding to this improved view. Particularly, to the right-hand side and rear over JCB’s low boom pivot point and unique sloping bonnet design.

The simple to operate, single integrated roof and windscreen sunblind, remains tight to the cab frame so as not to intrude across the driver, providing unhindered machine operation.

Along with set and forget adjustable settings this practical cab has a new adjustable, slimline, 7″ screen with a rotary controller.  This allows for simple, clear access to operational information. There are multiple charge points and full connectivity by USB, 3.5mm audio auxiliary, and Bluetooth through the radio, with an integrated microphone to aid hands-free calling from the operator’s mobile phone.
