Engine and design

With the CASE IH Puma 260, the talented engineers at CASE IH have taken a fresh look at the entire tractor design.  Drawing on the success of the now-established front-end styling with its enhanced lighting, one of the most visible changes is the new cab design.  This significant change brings with it 8% more space and 11% more glass area for enhanced vision and safety.  In addition, the windscreen wiper now provides up to 240-degree coverage.

More convenient features have been added too, such as the integrated water tank and toolbox so that you can carry the essentials, allowing on-the-go adjustments to implements, without leaving the field.

This CASE Puma 260 CVX for hire has a compact wheelbase with rated power outputs of 260hp, and the Power Management boost initiates a maximum power 302hp.  There is up to 11% more power, 15% more fuel tank volume and 18% more contact area from the larger tyre options.   Meaning you can carry heavier attachments, do more work between fuel tank fills, and have greater traction whilst still respecting the soil.

Technology at your fingertips

The CASE Puma 260 CVX comes with a AFS PRO 1200 touchscreen terminal, where operators can set up and control AccuGuide guidance, make tractor and ISOBUS implement settings, and set up AFS Connect telematics to record and transfer data to the MYCASEIH portal.  These options are available on request, please ask the team for more details.

Operator Comfort

Operator comfort has never been so great with 8% more volume, meaning there is more space in which to operate, and more storage for use during a day in the field.  In fact, the whole tractor has an 18% bigger contact footprint, which delivers greater traction and better flotation to protect soil structure.

Most importantly for the cab upgrade, there has been a reduction in internal noise levels to 66 decibels, which puts it amongst the lowest in the sector.  The impact of which is less of a sensory overload for the operator, making for a more comfortable and productive environment in which to work.

To add to the operator comfort, the CASE Puma 260 CVX features its most comfortable seat yet with active suspension, heated for cold days and vented for comfort in the height of summer.
