On-site capabilities

This 1300mm compaction roller is well designed for optimal visibility with a narrow frame design and a longitudinal engine mount.  Thus, resulting in improved control for better coverage and compaction results.   In addition, there is the option for the machine to come with a 400kg ballast, the impact of which is increased compaction levels.

The operator can select two different vibration frequencies and it comes with a high amplitude.  Again, supporting optimal on-site compaction with lower sounds levels.

Thinking of the end result, the CB34B has pneumatic tires that provide a kneading action for a tight mat finish.

The 308l water tank means that the operator can work for up to 10 hours without the need to refill.  In addition to the large tank, the variable spray modes support optimal water usage.  Designed with triple filtration there is an excellent performance from the nozzles and the self-adjusting, spring-loaded scrapers keep the drum clean, distribute water, and lower water consumption.

Compaction Roller Engine

The Cat C2.2t engine delivers 36kW of power, a considerable step up from the slightly smaller models of CB1.7 and CB2.7.  It is compliant with EU Stage 111A emission targets.

The CB34B comes with eco-mode and electronic engine control which has the effect of reducing fuel consumption.

Operator Environment

Like all Cat utility rollers, the CB34B is easy to operate with a simple control layout and sliding seat for comfortable operation.  There is an easy-to-read LCD display with LED lights to support nighttime use.

A foldable ROPS structure keeps the operator safe during use and folds for transport ease.
